Come see us next at Falconetti’s on Commercial Drive, Sunday February 12, with B DIAMOND and POMME for the Canadian Music Week Showcase. It’s an early show, 7pm, so stop by for a famous Falc’s sausage, a pint of stout and some crazy tunes. It’s going to be a great night!
In the meantime, check out our latest Squinter’s Paradise sneak preview:

Happy New Year! Thanks VanMusic for having us at your Year-End party with Zeppelina, what an awesome way to close out 2011 (photos here). Don’t miss us next with Artinair, Ross Fairbairn and Glenn Chatten at the Indie Pop Series Volume 13 – which, coincidentally, is on Friday the 13… 2012… (cue unsettling music…) – at the British Ex-Servicemen Association Club, 1143 Kingsway, 9 pm, $5. Facebook event here.
Frank Zappa Cover Contest II
On December 30, we also announced our latest FZ Cover Contest: Go to our facebook page and post a suggestion for our next Zappa cover. If we pick your tune, we’ll have a prize for you at one of our upcoming shows. We look forward to hearing from you!

Ring in the new year with Zappa and Zeppelin! We’ll be opening for Zeppelina, Canada’s only all female tribute to Led Zeppelin, at VanMusic’s End of the Year Party on December 30, 2011. The show will be back at one of our favourite new venues: The British Ex-Servicemen Association Club (1143 Kingsway, Vancouver) – which is cool ’cause they have free pool and $2 BEER. What more could you want on a New Year’s Eve’s Eve?

We’re back at the British Legion (1143 Kingsway) Friday Nov 18 for Volume 5 of the Indie Pop Vancouver Series. We’ll be playing with The Rain and The Sidewalk and Redrick Sultan, so it should be an awesome show!
VanMusic, CITR and the British Ex-Servicemen Association are pioneering this AWESOME new live music venue – SO COME SUPPORT IT. The place boasts $2 BEER, free pool, cheap munchies, a dance floor and, OF COURSE, a few larger-than-life Legion regulars to spice up your night. We need more places like this to rock out on a Friday night. $5 cover. Don’t miss out!

Our vocalist and flautist Courtney Lancaster has been selected to be part of the Soulpepper Theatre Academy – one of the most prestigious theatre companies in Canada. Congratulations Courtney! She’ll be in Toronto for the next while so we’ll be performing here without her, but don’t miss her on our upcoming release Squinter’s Paradise – featuring a STUNNING vocal solo in the title track! (If we do say so ourselves…)

That’s right! Two Apple Tobacco returns to The Princeton Pub Thursday March 17 for a very special St. Patrick’s Day Party and Concert!
We’ll be performing alongside awesome local bands Boobytrap and The New Normal, and we’ve got an extra-crazy St. Patty’s Day medley planned so it should be an exciting show. Drink specials, dancing and drunken debauchery.
Don’t forget to wear green!
