About the Band

Two Apple Tobacco has been called “a bright beacon of weirdness” (Snipe News) and “a wonderfully creative band” (Evolution Radio) who put on an “explosive show” (Sloan's Bones) that “pushed me as far as I could go” (Discorder Magazine).

Two Apple Tobacco was named one of the Top 25 Vancouver Bands by CITR-Vanmusic and has twice made the Georgia Straight’s Best of Vancouver list.

Their upcoming full length release Urban Planet celebrates the group’s history of out-of-the-box composition and FZ influence, rooted in their lush interpretation of the jazz and rock idioms.

Professional Reviews

“A wonderfully

creative band.”

Adam Graham

(Evolution Radio

107.9FM, Vancouver)

“Thoroughly entertained with some wacky and ambitious tunes ...

For music fans looking for something a bit different, Two Apple Tobacco is a bright beacon of weirdness.”

- Shawn Conner (GuttersnipeNews)

“Two Apple Tobacco. Very cool band.”

Oswaldo Perez

(The Morning After Show, CITR 101.9FM, Vancouver)

“[An] explosive show with a sound that is very Zappa-esq ... This band smoked the British Ex leaving everyone relaxed and satisfied.”

- Joseph Sloan (SloanBones)

“They drove me as far as I could go upon hearing them for the first time. That’s usually a good thing for me. If it takes a while to appreciate a band’s sound, it’s been proven that I will like them better in the long run.”
